AIIB to host 2024 global summit of public development banks

The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank will host the next meeting of the network of public development banks called “Finance in Common” in 2024. This will be the first time the event will be held in Asia.

Finance In Common said in an explanation delivered during the COP28 environment talks in Dubai that it had likewise sent off a stage with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and think tank Climate Policy Initiative (CPI).

Named the ‘Finance in Common Financial Innovation Lab’, it would hope to reinforce bank

 cooperation and assist with preparing more environment finance. In the first quarter of 2024, it intends to be operational.
